Behind the Tool

At Titan Tree Xtractor, we’re driven by one goal: making the removal of shrubs, small trees, and T-posts simple, efficient, and effective. Our flagship tool, the Titan Tree Xtractor, was born from a local landowner’s determination to tackle invasive buckthorn on his property. What started as a practical solution for one person quickly evolved into a collaboration between the community, students, engineers, and skilled Canadian manufacturers.
Peter, a retired tinkerer, first experimented with a borrowed tool to clear his land. Inspired to improve it, he partnered with Loyalist College, where students in the Manufacturing Engineering Technician and Mechatronics programs reimagined the design. Their blueprints led to a prototype that, through further refinement with FDF Industrial, became the Titan Tree Xtractor we offer today: stronger, lighter, and easier to use, with precision-engineered teeth and ergonomic handles that let anyone lift shrubs and small trees with minimal effort.
Our tool doesn’t just remove plants—it lifts the entire root system cleanly, leaving minimal soil disturbance and a ready-made hole for replanting. Built entirely in Hastings County, Canada, the Titan Tree Xtractor reflects a commitment to community innovation, quality craftsmanship, and practical problem-solving.
We are proud to support landowners, farmers, and outdoor enthusiasts in managing their property efficiently, safely, and sustainably. From its humble beginnings to its professional-grade design, the Titan Tree Xtractor is a testament to what happens when ingenuity, collaboration, and Canadian skill come together.
